On May 21–22, 2025, PT Bahtera Adi Jaya proudly took part in the prestigious Shrimp Aquaculture Conference (SAC) Bali 2025, a key gathering for Indonesia’s shrimp aquaculture industry.  

Held at the Intercontinental Hotel Bali, our participation in this event carried the theme “Integrated Solutions for Smarter & Healthier Aquaculture” ,a theme we chose to represent our commitment to providing solutions for smarter, more efficient, and sustainable shrimp farming. 

Real-World Challenges in Shrimp Farming 

Shrimp farmers across Indonesia face an uphill battle against a variety of pressing issues: 

  • Unstable water quality due to seasonal changes and environmental pollution 
  • High disease incidence, including vibriosis, EHP and white spot syndrome 
  • Inefficient feed conversion

Over the two-day event, Bahtera’s booth became one of the most visited spots on the floor. Farmers from across Indonesia came eager to learn, asking detailed questions about product application, dosage optimization, and how to combine different products for both intensive and semi-intensive systems. 

This technical discussion was a valuable moment that enriched our insight into the actual conditions in the field. We noted that the demand for environmentally friendly and efficient water treatment solutions is increasing, as well as for shrimp disease solutions, as farmers become more aware of the importance of balancing the pond ecosystem.
